Did you hear the story about the couple that thought they had an "I do" on their dream house only to discover it was an "I don't"? On April 1st, CTV reported on a couple who's supposed deal on the purchase of a North Vancouver home fell through because it was missing the Buyers' signatures on a Seller initiated change to the contract. (You can read the full article here.) They had a verbal agreement and started celebrating but the contract wasn't initialed by all parties, therefore, not binding. In the meantime, a superior offer came through.

Don't let this happen to you. When I'm working with my clients, I caution them right up front; when we are working on a deal, consider me your spouse: respond to my calls, texts, emails with the greatest possible timeliness and urgency. It's one easy step toward your happily ever after.
